Samrat Chattapadhoy , a seasoned NGO activist and consultant with 23 years of experience, is a driving force behind impactful social development initiatives in Kolkata, West Bengal. Having worked with State and Central Governments, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects, and international programs, he brings a wealth of expertise to roles such as Project Coordinator and Project Manager.

His extensive training includes Community Organization and Leadership Development, Social Work and Research, Documentation and Communication, Project Formulation, and Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation, with a specialization in NGO Management. A certified Trainer of Trainers in Entrepreneurship Development from IIE and EDI, Samrat is committed to fostering innovation and sustainability in communities.

Globally connected yet deeply rooted in local engagement, Samrat is recognized as an Active Citizen of the British Council. His involvement in the print and digital media sectors as an Editor showcases his dedication to amplifying voices and sharing transformative stories.

As the Director of Unified Council of NGO Consultancy and Convener of the West Bengal NGO Network, he spearheads initiatives that strengthen NGO collaboration and capacity building. Additionally, he leads “NGO Samrat”, a dedicated YouTube channel focused on the development of the NGO sector in West Bengal, highlighting the contributions of NGOs and their leaders.
